Parallax ("we", "us") is a free forex education community. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website and join the community, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately plain-English.

What we collect

• Name and email address — when you submit the signup form on this site.
• Account details from Whop — when you claim free access, Whop shares with us the email and Discord account you used, so we can manage community membership.
• Community activity — messages and profile information you choose to share inside our Discord server are visible to us as server operators.

This website itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To deliver your Discord invite and manage your access to the community.
• To send you emails about market breakdowns, live sessions and community updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your Discord access.
• To keep the community safe (for example, removing members who break the rules).

We rely on your consent for marketing emails (you confirm your subscription by email after signing up) and on our legitimate interest in running the community for access management. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Who processes it for us

• Kit — stores our email list and sends our emails.
• Whop — handles free-access claims and Discord membership.
• Discord — hosts the community itself.

Each processes your data under its own privacy policy in addition to our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you're subscribed or a member of the community. If you unsubscribe and leave the Discord, we remove you from our active lists; residual copies may persist in service-provider backups for a limited period.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll action it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
